Florian Hurel Reflects on His First Year as an Entrepreneur

Celebrity makeup and hairstylist Florian Hurel has come a long way. After working with superstars in the industry for various films and ad campaigns he came up with his own salon Florian Hurel Hair Couture & Spa in Mumbai and this highly sophisticated salon recently completed a year in the business. Sharing his joy and excitement on this Florian says,” If I can describe this emotion I would say - a year of emotions and hard work. To create a brand isn’t as easy as it looks. Luckily I had the experience of having a franchised international brand salon by myself since I was 21. So here it’s a year of applying all my experience into action with a great team. That made things easier.” He also adds,” I was meant to do business. I like managing people and seeing them being successful in their own journeys. When you are into service for beauty and aesthetics, it is extremely tough. From using the right kind of products to make our clients happy to how they are leaving our place - every aspect of the customer journey has been focused upon.”

Florian Hurel Announces New Bandra Branch: Unique Art and Cinema Vibes

After South Mumbai the second branch will come up soon in the queen of suburbs - Bandra. Talking about that Florian says,”Bandra will be unique and different from Walkeshwar. This place has different vibes oriented to art and cinema. I wish and hope that I get to make this place successful and comfortable for my clients.”

When asked about the challenges Florian faces as an entrepreneur he says,”I’m facing few challenges but all of these are meant to be there and to be crossed and faced . One for sure is to have your employees being able to believe that they also can do it. Right now the focus is to make a strong base so we can grow stronger in order to expand.”  Florian who is originally from France and came to India a few years back and visiualizes India as the future. He says,”We have another 20/30 years ahead of growth . I see India as the future.”
